To be eligible for nomination to the Top 50, businesses must be privately held within the 5-parish Imperial Calcasieu region (Cameron, Calcasieu, Beauregard, Allen, and Jefferson Davis). Companies that are owned by national or international concerns are not eligible (e.g. Citgo, Conoco-Phillips, Home Depot, etc....) Similarly, financial institutions owned by larger companies, or if there is a public market, however limited, in the stock of the bank, are also ineligible. Savings and loans and other mutual associations are also ineligible. Nominate your business on-line by filling out the questionnaire below. You can report a gross revenue range for 2008 or use actual revenue figures. Please note, we compile the "Top 10" according to actual revenue figures and continue the list by in alpha order within each revenue range.
